NCO Club
Project
Rebuilding NCO Club
Location
Palm Avenue, Novato CA 94949
The NCO Club was lost in the late 990s, but the foundation remains. This project showcases a collection of historical images related to NCO Club located on the Hamilon Theater parcel to the West, providing a glimpse into the rich history of the building. The NCO Club and mess hall was the scene of much of the social activity on base for a great number of its residents. The dining hall facilities, card rooms, dance floor, and band stand were on the first floor, while the club operations, including offices, were housed upstairs. The images capture various aspects of club, including nostalgic visitors. Registered with the Library of Congress as an historic site: https://www.loc.gov/item/ca2670/
Re-Building Hamilton NCO Club
Rebuild old Hamilton NCO building to create a new place to share artistic ideas and history by building it as a music museum is a big endeavor. First floor showcase, along with coffee shop, gift shop, sound booths, and hall of fame, then second story may include archival storage, recording studio, meeting rooms, and offices. In the tradition of the old NCO Club, this will be a great place for music and art appreciation, education and collaboration.
THE BIG IDEA
We Think Big, And Dream Bigger
This a PASSION project to preserve and build the historic Hamilton Music & Arts Town Center, by building up its music and arts roots as well as adding to it.
